The IAQ4EDU project participates in the dissemination session "Research in Energy and Building in Catalonia"

On March 22 of 2024, a session organized by the Institut Català de l’Energia - ICAEN (Catalan Institute of Energy - ICAEN) on "Research in Energy and Building in Catalonia" was held at the Sala Cotxeres of the Palau Robert. This session brought together professionals and experts from the main research centers and universities in Catalonia working in this field: IREC, CIMNE-UPC, ARC-La Salle, GRIC-UPC, University of Girona, Leitat, and Eurecat, as well as representatives of the Clúster de l’Energia Eficient de Catalunya.

Dr. Marta Gangolells, professor at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and member of GRIC, participated in the round table about key indicators of energy and building. During this session, she had the opportunity to present the latest advances and results obtained within the framework of the IAQ4EDU project on optimized ventilation strategies considering indoor air quality, thermal comfort, and energy consumption in educational buildings, contributing to the debate on current challenges and possible solutions in this field.
