IAQ4EDU project at the XI National Congress on Legionella and Environmental Quality

The Research Centre for Food Safety and Control (CRESCA) of the UPC hosted the XI National Congress on Legionella and Environmental Quality. Between May 7 and 8 of 2025, the Vapour University venue in Terrassa (Barcelona) has brought together various professional profiles, including architects, engineers, installers, and maintainers of equipment.

Prof. Marta Gangolells, principal investigator of the IAQ4EDU project, presented the final findings in a presentation entitled “Herramientas para optimizar el confort térmico y la calidad del aire en escuelas. Resultados del proyecto IAQ4EDU.”

Her presentation highlighted the innovative solutions developed to enhance school environments by improving thermal comfort, air quality, and energy efficiency, reinforcing the project’s key tool of creating a healthier and safer educational environment.
