Juan Tugores and Sen Miao, doctoral students of the GRIC research group, have been awarded the Research Grant 2023 of the Terrassa City Council

The IAQ4EDU project team celebrates that their doctoral candidates Juan Tugores and Sen Miao have been awarded with the 2023 Research Grant for excellence by the City Council of Terrassa. These grants are a recognition of their work in their doctoral theses.

In the case of the doctoral candidate Sen Miao, his thesis is titled "Contributions to the Assessment of Indoor Air Quality, Thermal Comfort and Ventilation in Educational Buildings", and it is being supervised by full professor Marta Gangolells and associated professor Blanca Tejedor. As for the doctoral candidate Juan Tugores, his thesis has being developed with the title "Indoor Air Quality Modelling in Educational Buildings", supervised by the associated professor Marcel Macarulla and full professor Marta Gangolells.

The grant award ceremony took place on November 28, 2023, at 6 p.m., in the City Council of Terrassa. The event was attended by the councilor for Universities and Knowledge Transfer, Pep Forn.
