The doctoral student Maria Maiques from the GRIC research group has been awarded the 2024 Research Excellence Grant

The IAQ4EDU project team celebrates that the doctoral student, Maria Maiques, has been awarded the 2024 Research Excellence Grant by the Terrassa City Council.

This grant recognizes her work on her Master's thesis titled: "Energy implications of meeting indoor air quality and thermal comfort standards in Mediterranean schools using different ventilation strategies", supervised by Dr. Joan Tarragona and Prof. Marta Gangolells.

The grant award ceremony took place on November 20, 2024, at 6:00 PM, in the auditorium of the Service for Universities and Knowledge Transfer of the Terrassa City Council. The event was attended by the Deputy Mayor for City Promotion and Councilor for Universities and Knowledge Transfer, Joan Salvador.
