GRIC members present the IAQ4EDU project in the ICPME 2022 and EC3 2022 international conferences

PhD students Sen Miao and Jaume Ferré Bigorra presented two papers at this year’s editions of the ICPME and EC3 conferences.

To promote the IAQ4EDU project to the scientific community, focused on the optimisation of ventilation in educational centres, two papers have been presented at international scientific conferences.

PhD student Sen Miao presented a paper entitled “Indoor Air Quality, Thermal Comfort and Energy Consumption Trade-off for Educational Buildings” at the 26th International Congress on Project Management and Engineering (ICPME 2022) that took place in Terrassa (Spain) from 5 to 8 July. In addition, PhD student Jaume Ferré Bigorra presented a paper at the 2022 EC3 European Conference on Computing in Construction (EC3), held in Rhodes (Greece) on 24, 25 and 26 July, entitled “Optimal ventilation strategies for balancing indoor air quality, comfort and energy use in educational buildings. The IAQ4EDU project”.

Participating in these two conferences has not only made it possible to communicate the methodology and results of the project’s initial phase but has also helped to extend the network of contacts and to meet potential collaborators for future projects.
